EU Barcelona Alumni Event

Almost 70 business people, including over 20 EU alumni, attended the Barcelona Chapter inauguration event on Thursday, November 28. Other guests included EU professors and members of Admirals Business Club, the event partner. After a warm welcome by EU Professor, Pio Verges, and René van Baardewijk, President of the EU Alumni Association, guests had the pleasure of hearing from Carlos de Albert Ysamat, Vice-President of the Association ‘Sillas Voladors’, which helps disabled people fulfil their dream of flying a plane, and the first Spaniard to obtain a pilot licence. He was followed by EU alumnus, Ascagneau Hupperts, General Manager France & Sales Directors Europe Ladies Wear at Prominent Europe, who talked about ‘The Speed to Market Approach in the Global Fashion Industry’. Both presentations led to many questions and generated interesting conversations. Everyone enjoyed the evening; for many it was a chance to reminisce and reflect on happy memories from their time together at European University.
